Why Do We Use Gait Analysis?

June 7, 2019 Posted by Studholme Chiropractic Blog No Comments

Walking is the most foundational movement for human beings. Walking on two feet is uniquely human (yes, though some animals do it, they have tails!). We are constantly on the go, from our first wobbly toddler steps to our last geriatric steps. It is estimated that in a lifetime, we walk the equivalent of 4.5 times around the world; and with regards to injury, our walking patterns can give us a LOT of information about the root cause dysfunction.

Here at Studholme Chiropractic, we always evaluate our patients while they walk. This most basic of functions helps us to understand exactly where your deficiencies may lie, and how our treatment can help you get back to living your very best life.

Watch the video below to hear Dr. Studholme explain how our technology works, and how evaluating your walk can benefit your treatment outcomes!
