Our Approach, The FNOR™ Process

The type of work we do goes beyond traditional chiropractic, physical therapy and rehab in important ways.

Functional Neuro Orthopedic Rehab or FNOR™ integrates cutting edge neurology and orthopedic rehab to address chronic pain, rehab, and performance. FNOR™ is a pioneering therapy system that emphasizes positively stimulating the brain and nervous system as part of a dynamic, physical rehabilitation strategy. The FNOR approach can be applied to a range of physical conditions, including, sporting injury, persistent pain, post-surgery recovery and symptoms affecting multiple systems of the body.

Most rehab is not intense enough to modify the brain (motor cortex). If we can change the motor cortex, then we can improve how your body perceives the area involved in your pain and improve the overall quality of strength bringing about faster and longer lasting changes.

Our comprehensive evaluation gives patients the benefit of diagnostics and information about their condition they’ve never had access to before. It also allows us to design a customized FNOR™  therapy plan that’s exactly right for each individual allowing you to get results when other approaches have failed.

Mike DeLuca, Head Rehab Specialist

Mike DeLuca brings extensive experience in athletic training and sports rehabilitation, most recently serving at Panorama Orthopedic Center as both an athletic trainer and liaison for sports medicine surgeon Dr. Jon-Michael Caldwell. Prior to this, he spent eight years in collegiate athletics, working with teams at the University of Denver and Colorado State University. Mike is known for his expert care, strong athlete relationships, and contributions to the success of sports programs.

At Denver, Mike was the primary athletic trainer for the men’s basketball team, women’s tennis team, and ski teams from 2020 to 2022. His career in college athletics began in 2015 at CSU, where he worked as a graduate assistant with the football, cheer, and dance teams. After earning his master’s degree in Adult Education and Training in 2017, he joined CSU’s sports medicine staff as the lead athletic trainer for the women’s volleyball and swim/dive teams.

Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 2015. During his time at UCF, he worked primarily with the football team and also gained professional sports experience as an NFL intern with the San Diego Chargers in 2014.

Now based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Mike enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife, Kaitlyn, and their beloved German Shepherd, Achilles. A passionate New York sports fan, he credits (and occasionally blames) his father, Nicholas, for his unwavering loyalty to his teams. Outside of work, Mike and Kaitlyn love playing recreational sports, attending games, exploring hiking trails, and discovering local breweries—always with Achilles by their side, happily accepting pets and treats.
